キラリフィルム

Production Background

Kirari Film was produced as an original, in-house project by Movie Impact Inc. The primary objective was to dramatically elevate the quality of short dramas. It served as a catalyst for our team to push boundaries, achieving unprecedented, epic world-building and breathtaking visual quality, even within a limited production environment.

Creative Focus

We adopted a technique that preserves the actors' authentic live performances while entirely replacing the environment—including costumes, backgrounds, and weather conditions—in post-production. The original live-action footage consisted simply of actors wearing tracksuits in a standard living room. From this baseline, we conjured epic scenes: from a harsh, blinding blizzard in snowy mountains to the spectacular collapse of a satellite in outer space. Our focus was on delivering a large-scale, Hollywood-level cinematic experience that completely transcends its living-room origins.

Leveraging AI for Streamlined Production

By fully harnessing the latest AI technologies, we achieved visual expressions that would traditionally demand massive physical locations, elaborate sets, and exorbitant CGI budgets—all at a fraction of the cost. Using live-action footage as a foundation, we deployed AI to generate and composite new backgrounds and wardrobes, efficiently transforming ordinary settings into extraordinary environments like deep space. This strategic use of AI not only shattered creative boundaries but also significantly optimized our entire video production process.

Results and Client Feedback

Upon viewing the final film, the cast was thrilled, noting that the outcome far exceeded their expectations. Following its release, the project successfully captured the audience's imagination, garnering enthusiastic praise such as, "The scale is massive! Yet it still retains the emotionally resonant world of Kirari," and "'I guess we saved the Earth' is an iconic line." Through this success, we have proven our capability to deliver high-quality corporate short dramas featuring the breathtaking, large-scale production values typically reserved for Hollywood blockbusters.
